LAUC-LA Handbook

This guide provides information and background documents for LAUC-LA Committees to carry out their charges. For a committee’s charge and roster, click that committee tab and a drop-down menu will lead to the procedures and documents for each committee.

Dates of programs and events are set by the Committee.  Dates of LAUC-LA Fall and Spring membership meetings are determined in coordination with the LAUC Statewide meeting calendar.

Select menus and arrange room set-ups
Prepare publicity and collect RSVPs
Assist chair with agenda and program details
Coordinate registration, badges, etc. on the day of the event

Obtain approval from the LAUC-LA Executive Board in advance for program expenses. Compare expenses related to having functions in YRL versus Faculty Center.

Work with other LAUC-LA committees to assist with any programs, workshops, brown bags or information sessions the other committees may want to hold.  Specifically, assist the Statewide Representatives with programs and other activities that they host.
