The Librarians Association of the University of California, Los Angeles (LAUC-LA) is the UCLA Division of the statewide Librarians Association of the University of California (LAUC).
Article II, Section 1 of the LAUC-LA Bylaws states: "LAUC-LA shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Office of the Chancellor and the Library administration on professional governance matters of concern to all librarians at UCLA." See the complete LAUC-LA Bylaws.

Chairs of LAUC-LA Committees and certain LAUC-LA Executive Board members are required to a submit Mid-Year Report prior to the Spring Membership meeting, plus a Final Report before the Fall Membership meeting. The reports inform the LAUC-LA membership of progress made to complete a charge from in the LAUC-LA Bylaws or to complete a specific charge from the LAUC-LA Executive Board.
