OER Development Workshop II for East Asian Languages: Design and Implement Lesson Plans to Enhance Interactional Competence of L2 Beginners

This second OER development workshop invites a guest speaker, Meng Yeh, Ph.D., Teaching Professor at the Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication, Rice University, on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 3-4 PM. This workshop is part of the multi-year East Asian Language OER Project, supported by a Title VI East Asian National Resource Centre (NRC) grant from the U.S. Department of Education and organized with UCLA Richard C. Rudolph East Asian Library by Michiko Kaneyasu, Associate Professor of Japanese Language and Linguistics in the UCLA Department of Asian Languages and Cultures. OER Development Workshop for East Asian Languages: Engaging Learners in Real-World Communication

This two-part series workshop invites two speakers, Jennifer Chan, Scholarly Community Librarian, UCLA Library for Part 1: OER Basics on April 11 at 5-6 PM, and Lauren Hetrovicz, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Spanish, The Community College of Baltimore County for Part 2: OER in Action on April 12 at 1-2 PM.
