Scope Note
As urban planning is a far reaching and extensive field of practice we have found it most useful to organize the library and non-library resources along six focus areas. These focus areas include: community-focused planning, environmental + sustainability planning, housing, international development, transportation planning, and urban design. These six areas follow the direction of the UCLA Urban Planning Department.
Throughout the focus areas we will be establishing our working definition of the focus area to illustrate the "why" behind the resources we've cultivated in each respective section.
