Introduction and Scope

This guide was created in 2022 by Arts Library Student Research Assistant Marie Fucile in consultation with Diana King. It includes introductory resources on Walt Disney film, television, culture, and theme parks at UCLA Library, including selected archival materials. While some materials cover specific currently-owned Disney properties such as Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar, the focus of the guide is on Walt Disney Studios history and general Disney study.
