Hello LibGuides editors,

As you know, due to upcoming library closures, our patrons will no longer have access to our print resources. We have created an alert box for the top of your LibGuides, please go in and add it to the top of your Guide home! Unfortunately, there does not look like a way for me to universally add it to everything, so we need your help to get this information to our users. This alert is also on our Research Guides home.

Instructions:

  • In edit mode on your Guide home, click “Add New Box – Column 1”
  • Click on the “Reuse Exisiting Box” tab
  • Choose:
    • Guide: *Master Boxes by UCLA Library
    • Box: Access to Print Resources (as of 3/20/20)
  • Title your box “Access to Print Resources (as of 3/20/20)”
  • Choose “Top of the column” for the Position
  • Click Save

Please leave this as a mapped box, in case we need to make updates to it. Also, if your students have access to LibGuides, this work might make a good student project.

As always, if you need any help with your Guides or any LibApps product, please put in a ticket.
