The Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection [LSC.0100] includes correspondence, diaries, journals, legal documents, literary manuscripts, scripts, photographs, and audio materials created by or related to persons, families, organizations and events of note, ranging in date from the 12th through the 20th centuries. It also includes medieval and Renaissance leaves and charters originating from western European countries.

A partial inventory of pre-1600 manuscript leaves, charters and documents from western European countries are listed and described in this research guide. Further information about the Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection is available on the Online Archive of California (OAC).
