OpenStreetMap provides map data for thousands of websites, mobile apps, and hardware devices. OpenStreetMap is built by a community of mappers that contribute and maintain data about roads, trails, cafés, railway stations, and much more, all over the world.

A key source of geographic information the Atlas provides a selection of interactive and historical maps and geographical data available for reference or downloading.

GIS data, maps and text complete data about the creation and all subsequent changes in the size, shape, and location of every county in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia.

Dataset includes 596 color digital images of maps from the Colombia 1:100,000 topographic series entitled: Repuìblica de Colombia : carta general 1:100,000, produced by the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadiìstica, Geograìfico Agustiìn Codazzi, Subdireccioìn de Geografiìa y Cartografiìa, from 2008-2009. This dataset includes both cropped map quadrant TIFs (1176 files) and full map quadrant TIFs (596 files), plus one shapefile index. System requirements: GIS software that reads GeoTIFFs.

Dataset includes 5 color digital topographic joint operations graphic maps (JOGs) covering Nepal and small parts of China and India, some with aeronautical information. Originally published as paper maps by the Defense Mapping Agency Hydrographic/Topographic Center and the Aeronautical Chart and Information Center in the series "1501" or "1501 air." Most sheets were compiled between 1984-1988. This dataset includes both cropped map quadrant TIFFs with accompanying world files and PRJ files (15 files) and full map quadrant TIFFs (5 files).

Dataset includes 219 color digital images of maps from the Mexico 1:50,000 topographic series entitled:Carta topograìfica 1:50,000, produced by the Direccioìn General de Estudios del Territorio Nacional, the Instituto Nacional de Estadiìstica y Geografiìa and the Instituto Nacional de Estadiìstica, Geografiìa e Informaìtica from 1974-2007. System requirements: GIS software that reads GeoTIFF files.This dataset has both cropped TIFs (657 files) and uncropped TIFs (219 files), plus one JPG index and one shapefile index.

A search portal for over 500,000 historical maps from different map libraries around the globe, including UCLA.

This alpha version of the platform allows users to navigate and search the historic map sheets, and to view basic data about present and erased localities.
