Core to CEA’s mission is providing consultative support to faculty as they develop and implement meaningful, sustainable assessment initiatives to evaluate educational programs and the university experience more broadly.
The Library Assessment Program helps the Library to better REFLECT, IMPROVE, COMMUNICATE and DEMONSTRATE, by facilitating data-informed decision processes, identifying trends, recommending changes, cultivating an assessment culture and demonstrating the Library's value to external audiences and stakeholders.
In alignment with UC Merced's 2017-2020 Library Strategic Plan, the 2017-18 strategic goals include Research Excellence & Academic Distinction, Student Success, Organizational Sustainability, and Community Engagement. Previous plans, reports, and other supporting documentation are included.
