Welcome to the UCLA Library Assessment Guide! Its purpose is to support you in the process of planning assessment activities both in general and in selected areas of library services such as collections, information literacy, reference services, outreach, technical service, space, and more.
Whether you are a member of the UCLA library staff, a member of the UCLA community, or a visitor from another institution, this guide will get you started on the path. At UCLA Library, assessment is used to make decisions that guide our future, not to validate decisions of the past.
