UCLA People – Faculty, Students, Staff and Alumni

Many of the same sources that are useful for university history, events, and places are also a useful source for information about people who have spent time at UCLA as a student, faculty or staff. Whether you are conducting genealogy research or learning more about a notable alum or professor, we have many collections that can provide you with introductory information about individuals.

Library Special Collections collects the papers of significant UCLA faculty, e.g., Eugen Weber or Donald Cram, as well as significant alumni collections of UCLA ephemera. For research on UCLA individuals or topics, search the Online Archive of California

In addition to the OAC, other sources of information for UCLA student life are listed below; unless noted, these collections are available onsite only in the UCLA Library Special Collections reading room.
