Users with simple mapping or spatial analysis needs should consider using Esri's web-based GIS solution, ArcGIS Online. It is easier to learn and use than the more complex (but powerful) desktop applications. ArcGIS Online is an online, collaborative GIS that allows students, staff, faculty and other UCLA affiliates to use, create, publish, and share maps, scenes, apps, layers, analytics, and data using Esri's secure cloud.
Log in to ArcGIS Online
Navigate to the UCLA's ArcGIS Online organization:
https://gisucla.maps.arcgis.com/
Click "Sign In" in upper right corner, and log in with your UCLA credentials.
