View Your List as a Student

If you would like to see how your reading list will look from your students' perspective, you can preview it in Student View.

  1. Click the reading list menu button (three horizontal dots "..." at the top right of your reading list)
  2. Select "View list as a student"
  3. You will now be able to view your reading list exactly as your students will see it
  4. To exit student view, hit the "x" in the bottom right corner

Publish Reading List

Until your reading list is published, it is not visible to your students. If you are submitting a course reserve request (see Submitting Your Reading List to the Library), there is no need to publish your reading list as library staff will ensure it is published once the items have been processed. However, if you are not submitting a course reserve request, you will need to publish the reading list on your own.

  1. Hit "Publish" at the top of the reading list
  2. You will automatically see a message stating that the reading list has been published, and you will see a green "PUBLISHED" status in the top left corner
  3. Once published, your reading list will be visible to all students enrolled in your course

Share Direct Links

Though Leganto is already visible to your students directly from Bruin Learn, you can also share direct links to the reading list or to specific sections.

Reading lists are restricted to students enrolled in their respective courses, therefore links to a reading list can only be opened by students enrolled in the associated course. You will not be able to share reading list resources with unenrolled students by sharing the link.

  1. To access Leganto analytics, go to your reading list and click on the Lists Analysis button (the small bar graph button in the top left of the reading list)
  2. You will then enter into analysis mode, where you can see the number of students that engaged with each resource and how they engaged with them
  3. Click the "x" in the bottom right corner of the screen to exit analysis mode

You will not be able to see the names of the students who have engaged with each resource, you will only be able to see the total amount.
