UCLA no longer has a subscription to Lynda.com, a provider of online training videos on technical and creative skills. However, Los Angeles Public Library has alternative access for any cardholder.
Filmmaking Books
Beyond e-books and websites, the UCLA Library selectively purchases a number of books focused on the practice of filmmaking. In particular, the library holds many titles from Focal Press, which publishes heavily on media technology for film and video production. You can search the Library Catalog by the name of the press, or use subject heading searches as a way to find books on different topics. For example:
