Opening the Doors to Contemporary Literature is a series of captivating events organized by members of the UCLA Library's International & Area Studies Department. Whether you prefer in-person interactions with renowned authors or engaging virtually through Zoom discussions, the series allows you to delve into the world of international literature through fiction and other creative works that inspire, educate, and foster a deeper appreciation for the written word. This guide provides an overview of past and upcoming events in the series. It also includes resources for further study and selected bibliographies of the authors' works.
