UCLA Library Special Collections’ map collections include maps of Los Angeles and Southern California that date from the nineteenth century to the present time and that were drawn up for a variety of purposes. Along with maps of the original California ranchos, they contain real estate maps, topographical and geological survey maps, railroad maps and road maps.
