- Afghanistan Digital Library Retrieves and restores works published in Afghanistan between 1870 and 1930. The long-term objective is to collect, catalogue, digitize, and provide access to as many of this period's publications as possible.
- Digital South Asia Library Contains valuable resources and databases, including the British Library's Oriental and India Office collection and union catalogs for other libraries
- Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Public Library With 21,000 manuscripts and 250,000 books, this important library is currently digitizing its manuscript collection
- Kitaab Ghar Digital Library An Urdu language 'book house.' Offers fiction, poetry, news, and history books.
- Online Burma Library Includes full texts of books, articles, conference papers, reports, theses, and directories of archives
- Project Madurai Project Madurai provides internet access to about 300 ancient literary classics in the Tamil language.
- Tibetan & Himalayan Digital Library An international community using Web-based technologies to integrate diverse knowledge about Tibet and the Himalayas for free access from around the world. Provides an integrated environment for digital publication of many diverse projects; includes multilingual studies, multimedia learning resources, and creative works concerned with the area's environments, cultures, and histories.

Newspapers
- Center for Research Libraries (CRL) Online Catalog: NewspapersNewspaper holdings include over 16,000 titles, more than 10,000 of which are published outside the US. CRL endeavors to collect extensive and, whenever possible, complete runs of newspaper titles, and its holdings of some titles are the most complete in existence. As a member of CRL, UCLA students and faculty can borrow any of these titles on interlibrary loan.

Features titles published in India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Languages include English, Bengali, Gujarati, and others.
