Literature Reviews

The Biomedical Library offers assistance publishing literature reviews - whether they are stand-alone reviews or part of a larger piece of original research. Use this form for the Health Sciences Expert Searching portal and select "Literature Review."

If you're looking for places to publish your review (or other publications), you might try the Journal Author Name Estimator (JANE) https://jane.biosemantics.org/. JANE will make suggestions based on the text you enter, and identifies open access publishers.

Open Access Support

A quick way to view a journal's open access publishing policies is to use Jisc Policy Finder https://openpolicyfinder.jisc.ac.uk/. Jisc Policy Finder can also help you find open access policies from funding agencies (NIH, NSF, etc.).
