The UCLA Online Campaign Literature Archive contains digitized copies of printed election materials and archived websites from elections for local, state, and federal offices affecting the Los Angeles area and ballot measures from California state and local Los Angeles area elections.

Using the PDFs in Box (1940 to 1996)
- Within each year, materials are grouped by folder, based on the file folders used to store the print materials.
- Within each folder, items are assigned a unique ID number, which is used as the filename. Each folder includes a scanning worksheet (usually the first or last file) which lists all the items and their ID numbers.
- Sample Scanning WorksheetScanning worksheets list the items within each folder.
Most oversize materials (larger than 11×17 inches) from 1940 on have not yet been scanned. They are listed on the scanning worksheets, but are only available in print.
