- Sonidos de la Frontera: Music across Borders and Time Exhibition This exhibition – installed just outside of the Music Library in the atrium of the Schoenberg Music Building – highlights the breadth of the Arhoolie Foundation's Strachwitz Frontera Collection of Mexican and Mexican American Recordings by discussing the history of music and the ways history is represented in music. Utilizing materials from over a dozen of the CSRC’s archival collections, the exhibition offers a gateway to the Strachwitz Frontera Collection’s vast and invaluable holdings. In addition to the physical exhibit, which is viewable through spring quarter 2019, users can find the online exhibit at the link above and a listening station in the entry to the UCLA Music Library.
