Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Hollywood Burbank (BUR) are the two airports closest to UCLA. LAX is closer and more convenient, but you might get cheaper flights into Hollywood Burbank. Southwest Airlines flies into both airports.

LAX to WESTWOOD
The Big Blue Bus requires a change in Santa Monica from the #3 or RAPID 3 to the #1 or #2, which will get you a few blocks from the UCLA Guest House.
The Culver City Bus #6 and RAPID 6 travel from LAX to the campus, close to the Luskin Center.
The LAX FlyAway Bus offers shuttles between LAX and Westwood Village. The fare is $10 with tickets available on the bus or online. Payments may be made with credit or debit card only. Check schedule for times as the bus is hourly only. Please note that it is close to a 1.5 mile uphill walk from the Westwood stop to the Charles E. Young Research Library (YRL). Depending on the day and time, taking a taxi, Uber, or Lyft from the bus stop is recommended. NOTE: Effective March 18, 2019, Westwood FlyAway bus stop has relocated from Kinross Avenue to the northeast corner of Gayley Ave. and Strathmore Pl., which is not on the Campus Shuttle route.
Super Shuttle a shared ride van company, operates out of LAX and is authorized to serve all Southern California counties. Reservations are recommended.

ON-CAMPUS
The UCLA Campus Shuttle offers free service running weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Hours may be affected by holidays or reduced hours during the summer or campus breaks.) The shuttle arrives at stops approximately every 8 to 10 minutes. In addition to serving campus, there are various stops in nearby Westwood Village . The shuttle stops closest to the Charles E. Young Research Library are at the intersection of Wyton Drive and Charles E. Young Drive East.
AROUND TOWN
Public Transportation
Several bus routes have stops at the corner of Hilgard Avenue and Westholme Avenue on the east end of campus, as well as stops at the north end of Westwood Plaza closer to the central area of campus.
The Big Blue Bus serves West Los Angeles and Santa Monica. The base adult one-way fare is $1.25 cash per trip.
The Culver City Bus serves Culver City and West Los Angeles. The base adult one-way fare is $1.00 cash per trip.
The Metro Bus serves most of Los Angeles. The base adult one-way fare is $1.75 cash per trip.
Ride-Share
When hailing an Uber or Lyft ride from campus, riders must be picked up from one of the campus pick-up zones. These zones do not apply to passengers being dropped off at a campus location.
Taxi
When requesting a taxi pickup close to YRL, the most convenient pickup location to give to the driver is the UCLA Guest House at 330 Charles E. Young Drive East, Los Angeles 90095.
