Name Details

AccessMedicine

The AccessMedicine app delivers support and point of care solutions for clinical practice. It includes: Quick Medical Dx & Rx, Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas of Clinical Dermatology, Differential Diagnosis Tool, and Diagnostic Tests.

Authenticate the App

  1. To activate, and for continued access to the app, the user must have an active MyAccess account through AccessMedicine and sign in every 90 days through your institution, either on-site or through a VPN. Your MyAccess account user name and password will activate this app. 
  2. Sign up for a My Access account by clicking AccessMedicine, click on Sign In on the upper right-hand corner of the page, and create a free MyAccess profile.

CINAHL

CINAHL Plus provides nurses, allied health professionals, researchers, nurse educators and students with an expanded version of CINAHL Database, the cumulative index to nursing and allied health literature.

Authenticate the App
After installing the app on your device, it must be authenticated from the EBSCOhost or EBSCO Discovery Service interface.

  1. To use the EBSCOhost app, access EBSCOhost as you typically would via your library website or corporate intranet.
  2. Click the EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Apps link at the bottom of the page and enter an email address which you can access from your device. An email with an authentication key is sent to you.
  3. Access the email from your device and click the link found in the email to authenticate the application. You have 24 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 24 hours, it expires and you will need a new key.

STAT!Ref

STAT!Ref® online is a reputable healthcare e-resource enabling users to intuitively cross-search full-text, evidence-based and authoritative resources.

Authenticate the App

  1. Go to STAT!Ref and click My STAT!Ref at the top right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Register for an account.
  3. Your user name will be the e-mail address you entered. Use this user name and password to login to the app.

UpToDate

UpToDate is the leading clinical decision support resource with evidence-based clinical information – including drug topics and recommendations that clinicians rely on at the point of care.

Authenticate the App

  1. Go to UpToDate and click "Register" on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Register a user name and password.
  3. Download the app using the links above.
  4. Authenticate using the user name and password just created (do not use "Institutional Account" on the login screen).
