artnet is an online auction site, database, and portal for the international fine and contemporary arts and antiques markets. artnet Galleries lists over 2,200 galleries in approximately 250 cities worldwide, linking to more than 166,000 artworks by over 39,000 artists from around the world.

The Contemporary African Art Collection (CAAC) is a private collection created by Italian business man, Jean Pigozzi, over the last 20 years. It includes several thousand artworks featuring paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs, installations and videos from contemporary artists living in sub-Saharan African countries. Curated from the very beginning by André Magnin, the CAAC is constantly acquiring new pieces, adding new artists and lending works to institutions and museums.
