California Digital Library Data Management Resources
The following data management tools, provided by the California Digital Library (CDL), are available for use for UC researchers to help them manage, preserve, and provide access to their important digital assets.
A service for researchers and others to obtain and manage long-term identifiers for digital content including data, which makes digital objects easier to access and verify, thus increasing re-use and citations; UCLA researchers should email requests for EZIDs.
Science Commons designs strategies and tools for faster, more efficient web-enabled scientific research. Science Commons identifies unnecessary barriers to research, crafts policy guidelines and legal agreements to lower those barriers, and develops technology to make research, data and materials easier to find and use.
Established in 1977, the UCLA Social Science Data Archive provides a foundation for social science research with faculty support through an entire research project involving original data collection or the reuse of publicly available studies.
