ARTstor Digital Library
ARTstor is a nonprofit digital library with a database of more than 2 million high resolution images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and social sciences that are available for educational and research purposes. The collections in ARTstor have been contributed by several museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, and artists and artists' estates.
Artstor also includes open-access media collections featured in Shared Shelf Commons. More than 200,000 image, video, document, and audio files contributed by Shared Shelf subscribers can now be searched in this ever-growing resource. Shared Shelf Commons
is a free, open-access library of images.
In addition, the University of California Digital Library provides access to several licensed resources through ARTstor's Shared Shelf and the UC campuses (including UCLA) share selected image collections across the UCs through Shared Shelf.
