Mesoamerican and Pre-Columbian Art

Welcome to the UCLA Library guide for research on Renaissance Art. This guide is intended as a starting place for researchers, pointing to tools for finding books, scholarly articles, reviews, and other topical and collection-related information.

Browse Journals

These are some of the leading scholarly journals in the field. Browse the most recent issues if you are looking for a topic or want to see the direction of recent scholarship in the field.  Most are available online through the UCLA Library Catalog.

Subject-Focused Databases

These databases are subject focused and will help you find more relevant information about your topic. Note that many of these sources only index journal articles -- they don't actually have the full text. Use the gold UC-eLinks button to do an automated search to find the full text, or search for the journal title in the UCLA Library Catalog. If connecting from home, make sure your computer is configured for off-campus access.

General Databases

These databases contain article citations and/or full text articles across a range of subjects and disciplines.
